The Layout & Design tool is set up in rows and columns , creating zones in a grid pattern. This provides you with endless flexibility to customize your template.

To add a new column to your layout, click on + ADD ELEMENT in the toolbar and select Column .
All columns can be set to be different widths. To change this dimension, use the slider in the Properties card.
Once you've got the core structure of your layout in place, add other key elements to your rows and columns to set up the meat of your site — the content that's visible to your audiences.
The elements you can use include:
Row: These are horizontal areas that you can combine with Columns to define your grid.
Column: These are vertical areas that you can combine with Rows to define your grid.
Posts: These are zones on a page that are populated with posts from a section. This is what is used to fill a page with posts.
Conditional Content: These let you show specific elements per device. For example, if you want to add a piece of custom HTML that's shown to mobile users only, you can add a Conditional Content element and then insert that device-specific code in it.
Shared Element: These are elements that are shared across other pages (e.g., Top Bar, Side Bar, or Footer).
Text: These let you add any text you'd like to a zone on your site.
Image: These let you add any image you'd like to a zone on your site.
Heading: These let you choose a title for a zone on your site. Start delimiting spaces for your content.
Links List: These let you create a list of important links for your site. For example, you could use this element to insert a list of links to your legal disclaimers in your footer.
Social Links: These let you link out to your social media pages to expand your online presence.
Custom HTML: These let you insert any custom HTML into your site to embed creative new assets. For example: Want to embed a YouTube video on your home page? This element makes that possible.
Newsletter: These let you offer your readers a way of getting periodic updates via email.
Subscription Widget: These let you offer your readers a way to stay connected.
Header Code: These let you add code throughout your site.
Ad Header Code: These let you add header code that's required for some ad placements.
Ad Tag: These let you add advertisements to your site. You can enter ad code for separate devices as well.
Facebook Page Widget: These let you give your visitors quick access to your Facebook page through a widget.
Post Content (in the Post Page): These let you add content to your posts, such as author, date, share buttons, body text, similar article links, tags, and comments.
These are your main tools for creating an amazing site!
