What to do if Google Search Console finds a video markup issue
Google's Search Console tools will frequently alert site owners about issues with their sites, which is a great feature to take advantage of if you get notified of an error. For example, Google has begun to point out if any video embeds on your site aren't processing correctly. If this occurs, you may get an email message that looks like the following:
If you've received a similar message and use JW Player, YouTube, or other popular and well-known video platforms, don't worry about it. If you click through the report to check out things further, you'll most likely see that the problematic videos are from lesser-known third-party video players. If this is the case, we advise you to replace those with an equivalent YouTube video if you can. If this isn't possible, don't fret about it too much and try to use trusted video platforms in the future.
