Use Particle Assembler to instantly create new articles
RebelMouse's Particle Assembler breaks down your article into micro pieces of content called particles , which can then be shared individually on social, and can even stand on their own. This is why it's now possible to transform your particles into their own articles. Here's how it works.
After you have created an Assembler in Entry Editor, click the gear icon in the right-hand corner of a particle. Next, toggle on the Turn into post feature to turn that particular particle into its own article.
You can replicate the same workflow to turn the entire Assembler into individual posts, too. Click the gear icon at the top of the entire Assembler and turn on the Turn into posts toggle to create new articles for every particle. So if your Assembler has four particles, those particles will turn into four additional articles.
To view the new articles, click the external link icon to the left of the gear icon in the right-hand corner of the particle:
The new articles will have the following features:
- The particle headline will become the article headline
- The particle media will become the lead media
- The particle body will become the article body
- The new article will inherit the original article's sections and tags
- The particle's URL will become the article's URL
When you publish the original article, you will see the particle (or particles) you chose to turn into articles hyperlinked in Assembler. Here's a screencast of the workflow:
Once published, please note that if you choose to edit the particles in the original Assembler, those changes will not be reflected in your new articles. If you have any questions about this feature, please email support@rebelmouse.com or talk to your account manager today.
