At RebelMouse, we closed out 2022 stronger than ever. In addition to our commitment to performance all year long, we are now leaps and bounds ahead of others in the industry on becoming an AI-enabled CMS. We invested 2,191 hours into our platform in Q4 2022 alone. All of the sites on our platform benefited from the work in various ways. Here are the key areas that we focused on:

OpenAI and Stable Diffusion Integrations

ChatGPT shocked the world in November 2022, and by December 2022 the RebelMouse product team had already outlined a roadmap for turning RebelMouse into the most advanced AI-enabled CMS in the world. RebelMouse Performance Monitoring for Core Web Vitals

Performance is deeply ingrained in our culture at RebelMouse — it’s never a one-time effort. Our 10x team has worked to build an application that monitors and helps debug Core Web Vital issues in real time.

RebelMouse accesses the Google CrUX API to get daily updates and the latest averages. But in addition, we’ve built custom JavaScript based on the open-source Google library to track Core Web Vitals in real time. Now, every time you take any new code live, developers and/or QA can quickly review the last five minutes, last hour, and last 24 hours at a quick glance to see if your Core Web Vitals have been positively or negatively impacted.

We’re excited to be releasing this as a standalone product that you can also run on sites that are not yet powered by RebelMouse. Learn more here .

Structured Data for FAQs

We’re proud to have the best publishing platform for technical SEO. We’re always looking for opportunities to give our clients an advantage in SEO, and structured data for FAQs is no exception. This has moved the needle for all clients using it to increase rankings on competitive search phrases and create real growth in organic SEO.

Open-Source Library Updates

It’s easy for a website to ignore core, open-source library updates that run the underlying technology beneath it. This is a huge weakness for WordPress, Drupal, and other CMS options that have each instance get behind and fall apart in security and performance. We’re very proud to constantly avoid technical debt and keep our core platform super modern for our clients.

Editorial Calendar Upgrades

Our editorial calendar continues to evolve. In Q4 2022, the RebelMouse team upgraded code infrastructure to allow clients using the tool to flow custom field data into the calendar.

HR Updates

At the end of 2022, we had 95 team members across 32 different countries , which means approximately 23% YoY growth in headcount . Also, 20% of 2022’s new hires were referred by current team members, which means that RebelMouse team members love working here and keep referring to us as a great place to work.
